From anywhere you fly to Delhi.
Delhi O/N
Arrive at Delhi and check in to a
luxury hotel.

20th Nov.
Delhi to Jaipur. Jaipur O/N 4 hours
drive.
After breakfast leaving the
metropolitan city, you arrive in Jaipur just in time for lunch and check in to
another luxury hotel. After resting you can take a walk around to interact with
the culture and people of Rajasthan.

21st Nov.
Jaipur to Jaipur. Jaipur O/N. Sight
seeing.
In
the morning after breakfast we take a tour to the city palace, the observatory
and the local market. In the shops you can find printed textile which is famous
from there. Jaipur is also known for precious stones. We have lunch at Choki
Dhani and then go back to the hotel.

22nd Nov.
Jaipur
to Pushkar. Pushkar camp O/N. (Tented) Drive 3 hours.
This
will be an early start as after breakfast you will be leaving for the Pushkar
Fair that we will reach by lunchtime. After lunch we have a little rest in the
camp and then take a tour of the fair. We will capture the amazing colors of
Rajasthan. In the evening we will be sitting around the bonfire enjoying a glass
of wine. Your escort will brief about the program and safety rules. He is
encyclopedia of Indian history, culture, Marwari breed of horses and over all he
is a gentleman.

23rd Nov.
Pushkar to Ras Palace. Ras Palace
O/N. Safari starts.
In the morning after breakfast we
mount our horses and start the adventure. Leaving the colorful fair and
beautiful animals we gallop towards our destination. Lunch enroute. We pass
through dessert and some semi dessert terrain. Reach the majestic palace of Ras.

24th Nov.
Ras palace to Nimaj Fort/Chatter
Sagar Camp. O/N
As
the sun rise, we enjoy our breakfast on the terrace of the palace capturing a
breathtaking panoramic view. Then it is time to mount our horses and move
towards our new destination for the night. Lunch enroute. Passing through rough
terrain you can witness some of the ruins of old forts and marble mines in
Aravalis. Riding through some villages and plains we reach the beautiful Fort on
Nimaj/Chattar Sagar Camp and enjoy the hospitality of the nobles.

25th Nov.
Nimaj Fort/Chattar Sagar Camp to
Fort Auwa. O/N
This morning we start early at
about 08:30 A.M. after breakfast we mount our horse and ride through plains
leaving beautiful country side. We stop for lunch. After lunch and little rest
we remount our horses to discover the rugged terrain of Rajasthan. Passing
through some open land and villages we reach the Fort of Auwa where we will be
welcomed by the host.

26th Nov.
Fort Auwa to Rawala Jojawar. O/N
Leaving
behind the rugged ford of Auwa we move through rich fertile fields. We come
across a variety of crops. Water is abundant in this area and one can witness
this through surroundings. We halt at around 12:30 noon at a beautiful farm
which grows fresh vegetables and flowers. After lunch we move forward and cross
a few old villages which show the prosperity of the native people. We reach
Rawala Jojawar at round 05:30 P.M., situated on the edge of Aravali hills. Enjoy
our evening with a glass of wine and recall memories of the places we ridden
through.

27th Nov.
Rawala
Jojawar to Narlai. O/N
After breakfast we mount our horses
and ride parallel to the Aravali range, one can notice the change in the
landscape as we are heading towards the ranges. We stop for lunch and little
rest. After lunch we remount our horses and ride towards our destination for the
night. Crossing through dry riverbed, sandy terrain and small villages.
Interacting with locals enroute, we reach Rawala Narlai.

28th Nov.
Rawala Narlai to Ranakpur. O/N
At
crack of dawn we ride close towards Aravali Hills. Leaving behind Rawala Narlai
to its former glory. Riding through different hamlets inhabited by Bhils, a
former warrior tribe who have opted farming as livelihood now. Crossing open
water wells and few dry monsoon ridges we reach our lunching spot where our chef
and attendants surprise us by chilled beers and hot soups. After having fresh
cooked hot food, we once again take charge of our mounts and by sunset we reach
our destination Ranakpur where the world-famous Jain Temple intricately carved
in white marble.

29th Nov.
Ranakpur to Bijapur Camp. O/N
(tented)
In
the morning after a late breakfast at 09:30 a.m. we start moving west of
Ranakpur in the forest. After a few kilometer of rugged ride of ups and downs we
step into the heart of Aravali and can encounter various animals if lucky
enough. The track is full of pugmarks of leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals
etc. we stop for lunch at a scheduled place around 12:30 noon. After lunch we
move further crossing many settlements of the Grasia Tribe “the most colorful
tribe of Rajasthan”, which has strong hold in this region. By sunset we reach
our jungle camp Bijapur where our well furnished tents await us at a beautiful
scenic place. We spent the evening around camp fire enjoying our drinks and
chatting.

30th Nov.
Bijapur camp to Korta Escape. O/N
After
breakfast we set our mounted journey once more. Crossing few more settlement of
Grasia in the forest we come to lush green fields and then we pass by the main
town of Bijapur which is the head quarter of many tribal villages, riding few km
more and we reach our lunch spot. After lunch and little rest we continue our
ride. As we cross beautiful area full of rocky and romantic hills and few
villages we reach our final destination Korta to witness the most beautiful
sunset in the Aravali range. Here we end the safari. Korta is a beautiful place
with many 15th century temples along Aravali range, lush green fields
and large san dunes. It is also known as “home to Marwari breed horses”. Blue
bulls are also in abundant in this village. In the evening we are entertained by
local tribal musicians and dancers.

1st Dec.
Korta to Korta. O/N. Village tour.
After
a late breakfast, we take tour of village, where we visit local tribes of
shepherds in their houses and witness the way of life and their daily routine,
then visit the ancient temple of “mother goddess” and learn about the history
behind the temple. On our way we try out hands on pottery at the village potter
house under his supervision, and try to understand the culture of different
tribes. After lunch and rest in the evening we take a jeep safari into the
country side around Korta. Into farm land’s to encounter some wild life. Now
return to Korta Escape where we relax around bonfire with glass of wine and
barbeque. We recall our memory from the entire horse safari tour.

2nd Dec.
Korta Escape to Udaipur. O/N. drive
3 hours.
After
breakfast we drive from Korta Escape, leaving all beautiful horses and
picturesque & peaceful life refreshing environment behind. We reach Ranakpur
Jain temple. After the temple visit we have lunch at Ranakpur and then drive
through the scenic Aravali range and we reach Udaipur. Check in to a luxury
hotel.

3rd Dec.
Udaipur to Udaipur. O/N. sight
seeing.
After
breakfast we take tour of city build in 1559 and is longest place in Asia, visit
Jagdish temple and the garden of maiden’s. Later we have lunch at Ambrai and
then boat ride to finish tour. There are many places of interest
for shoppers. You can get miniature paintings, textile and jewelry that are
famous from Udaipur. We relax at the hotel in the evening.

4th Dec.
Udaipur to Delhi. O/N flight.
After early breakfast we fly to
Delhi and get about half a day in Delhi for shopping and we relax in a
comfortable hotel thinking about all the experience gained during the tour.

5th Dec.
Delhi to home. Flight.
After breakfast we leave for the
airport, depending on flight schedule.
