You'll find our dates for this year listed below. We also run weeks which are different from our normal programme weeks, indicated under the column marked "special weeks". We are also open to organising ride weeks/weekends/short breaks outside these dates. Please don't hesitate to ask if you are interested in planning something special.

• All prices are based on 2 people sharing; except on the Mira Summer Adventure, where no single room supplement is applicable.
• On the Blue Coast Trail and Mira Atlantic Trail, the rider and non-rider price includes shared accommodation, two evening meals and all breakfasts.
• On the Mira Atlantic Summer Version and Mira Summer Adventure Trail, the rider and non-rider price includes shared accomodation, all evening meals and all breakfasts.
• Our usual max weight limit is 85kg / 185 lbs / or 13.4 stone, but we can take heavier riders depending on their riding ability and number of guests on that week. Please contact us to check availability. When filling out the booking form all of the information, especially your weight, must be accurate. Riding clothing usually weighs about half a stone (7lbs or 4 Kg).
• Car Rental In Portugal is inexpensive and adds another dimension to the Mira Programmes: please ask for information.

The Special Weeks during the year

The first two trail rides in November

These Mira Atlantic Trail and Blue Coast North Trails include a visit to the annual National Lusitano Horse Festival ‘Golega’, where you can see the finals of the dressage, driving, showing, breeding and jumping events. Sample the atmosphere of this Portuguese horse town and taste the new wines of the year on St.Martin’s day! A big favourite with repeat guests - flights to Lisbon only.

We ride out with the intention of exploring new tracks and pathways which we haven't tried before to search out new routes. There are thousands of small tracks and secret valleys in the area, so it's a great option for the adventurous and fit amongst you!

Get away into the sun, find out how Portugal ‘jumps’ into the New Year. Includes complimentary champagnea and always attracts a fun group of riders. The town of Milfontes has a carnival atmosphere over the New Year holiday.

We're running a yoga option as an added extra to one of our ride weeks in the summer, which will include morning group yoga sessions and private sessions in the afternoon with our visiting yoga instructress, Lisa Petersen from Ireland.

We have had requests over the years for an instructional option - this is it! A different approach: a riding fanatics dream - why not give it a try?
